This artwork by Iwan E. Hugentobler achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2004. In the Sporting Art and Dogs auction, the work Yverdon sold for GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,578.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. This high result makes Yverdon the most expensive artwork by Iwan E. Hugentobler that we have observed at auctions so far.
