Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gstaad by Iwan E. Hugentobler was sold in the The Ski Sale auction at Christies in London in January 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,104.27) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Iwan E. Hugentobler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2004 the work Frauenfeld was auctioned for GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,578.50).
