Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Frauenfeld by Iwan E. Hugentobler for GBP 120.00 (€ 178.45). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Iwan E. Hugentobler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frauenfeld in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,578.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Frauenfeld von Iwan E. Hugentobler für GBP 120,00 (€ 178,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Iwan E. Hugentobler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frauenfeld im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.792,50 (€ 2.578,50).
