Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Pferderennen by Iwan E. Hugentobler for GBP 240.00 (€ 347.28). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Iwan E. Hugentobler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frauenfeld in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,578.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pferderennen von Iwan E. Hugentobler für GBP 240,00 (€ 347,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iwan E. Hugentobler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frauenfeld im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.792,50 (€ 2.578,50).
