Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les lilas by Ivan Pokhitonov was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2019. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,103.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Pokhitonov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sur la plage in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 477,757.47).

Die Arbeit Les lilas von Ivan Pokhitonov kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.103,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Pokhitonov erzielen.
