Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Hunters by Ivan Pokhitonov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 226,800.00 (€ 264,280.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Ivan Pokhitonov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Sur la plage was auctioned for GBP 409,250.00 (€ 477,757.47).
