Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Haystack by Ivan Pokhitonov. The price achieved of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,428.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Pokhitonov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sur la plage in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 477,757.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Haystack von Ivan Pokhitonov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 26.428,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Pokhitonov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sur la plage im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 409.250,00 (€ 477.757,47).
