Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Ruelle à La Panne by Ivan Pokhitonov. The price achieved of GBP 47,880.00 (€ 56,215.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ivan Pokhitonov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sur la plage in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 477,757.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ruelle à La Panne von Ivan Pokhitonov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 47.880,00 (€ 56.215,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Pokhitonov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sur la plage im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 409.250,00 (€ 477.757,47).
