Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape with Haystacks and a Flock of Sheep by Ivan Pokhitonov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 73,411.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ivan Pokhitonov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sur la plage in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 477,757.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape with Haystacks and a Flock of Sheep von Ivan Pokhitonov wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 73.411,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Pokhitonov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sur la plage im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 409.250,00 (€ 477.757,47).
