Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le poulailler vu de la chambre de Boris by Ivan Pokhitonov was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 37,750.00 (€ 42,141.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Pokhitonov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sur la plage in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 477,757.47).
