Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study for 'Landscape Rushing By' by Ivan Vasilievich Kliun was sold in the IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN WORKS ON PAPER auction at Christies in London in February 2004. The price achieved of GBP 47,800.00 (€ 71,367.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Vasilievich Kliun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spherical Suprematism in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 4,867,900.00 (€ 5,716,104.74).
