Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition: Four Works by Ivan Vasilievich Kliun was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,246.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Vasilievich Kliun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spherical Suprematism in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 4,867,900.00 (€ 5,716,104.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition: Four Works von Ivan Vasilievich Kliun kam im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 11.246,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Vasilievich Kliun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spherical Suprematism im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.867.900,00 (€ 5.716.104,74).
