Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Esquisse d'un décor pour le drame 'La force des ténèbres' by Ivan Bilibin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,140.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Bilibin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tsaritsa Militrissa in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 150,500.00 (€ 210,738.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Esquisse d'un décor pour le drame 'La force des ténèbres' von Ivan Bilibin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.140,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Bilibin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tsaritsa Militrissa im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.500,00 (€ 210.738,94).
