The work An illustration for Alexander Pushkin's 'Fairytale of the Tsar Saltan' unframed by Ivan Bilibin was worth GBP 32,000.00 (€ 37,081.04) to a buyer in November this year. This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Ivan Bilibin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tsaritsa Militrissa in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 150,500.00 (€ 210,738.94).

Die Arbeit An illustration for Alexander Pushkin's 'Fairytale of the Tsar Saltan' unframed von Ivan Bilibin war einem Käufer im November diesen Jahres GBP 32.000,00 (€ 37.081,04) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Bilibin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tsaritsa Militrissa im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.500,00 (€ 210.738,94).
