The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,626.92), 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Israel Lund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 141,092.54).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.626,92) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Israel Lund erzielen.
