Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Israel Lund was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September last year. The price achieved of USD 13,860.00 (€ 14,167.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Israel Lund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 141,092.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Israel Lund kam im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 14.167,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Israel Lund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 141.092,54).
