Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Woodland Study by Isaak Levitan. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,572.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaak Levitan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Illumination of the Kremlin in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,588,500.00 (€ 2,224,310.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woodland Study von Isaak Levitan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.572,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaak Levitan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Illumination of the Kremlin im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.588.500,00 (€ 2.224.310,97).
