Sold at the lower estimate price
In June 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Dacha In Spring by Isaak Levitan. The result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 56,399.50) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaak Levitan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Illumination of the Kremlin in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,588,500.00 (€ 2,224,310.97).
