Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Isaac Witkin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,680.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac Witkin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nagas in November last year with an auction result of USD 82,275.00 (€ 79,700.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Isaac Witkin kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.680,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac Witkin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nagas im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 82.275,00 (€ 79.700,67).
