The work Abstract by Irene Chou was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 21,912.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Irene Chou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Universe Lies Within, which sold at auction in June 2015 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,598.44).

Die Arbeit Abstract von Irene Chou kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 21.912,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Irene Chou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Universe Lies Within beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.598,44) versteigert wurde.
