The work Abstract (Untitled) by Irene Chou was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March last year. It achieved a price of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 11,603.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Irene Chou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Universe Lies Within in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,598.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Abstract (Untitled) von Irene Chou kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 11.603,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Irene Chou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Universe Lies Within im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.598,44).
