Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Stooo-Peep by Ingrid Calame was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in September 2014. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,878.37), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ingrid Calame have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hnggnh-Hnggnh-Hnggnh in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 63,598.26).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Stooo-Peep von Ingrid Calame wurde im September 2014 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.878,37) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ingrid Calame auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hnggnh-Hnggnh-Hnggnh im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 63.598,26).
