Auction result well in line with expectations
The work WhWhWh/SSSSSSSS, 2000 by Ingrid Calame was sold in the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June 2020. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,405.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ingrid Calame achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hnggnh-Hnggnh-Hnggnh in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 63,598.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit WhWhWh/SSSSSSSS, 2000 von Ingrid Calame wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.405,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ingrid Calame erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hnggnh-Hnggnh-Hnggnh im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 63.598,26).
