This artwork by Indieguerillas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Tantric Sex 4 Da People sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,444.05) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Indieguerillas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 60,411.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Indieguerillas erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Tantric Sex 4 Da People für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.444,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Indieguerillas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 60.411,22).
