In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian, which included the work Skip You, Start Me by Indieguerillas. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,468.44), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Indieguerillas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia, which sold at auction in April 2012 for HKD 620,000.00 (€ 60,411.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skip You, Start Me von Indieguerillas zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 28.468,44) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Indieguerillas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia beobachtet, die im April 2012 für HKD 620.000,00 (€ 60.411,22) versteigert wurde.
