Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Gangster Nation by Indieguerillas. The price achieved of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 12,788.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Indieguerillas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 60,411.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gangster Nation von Indieguerillas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 12.788,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Indieguerillas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 60.411,22).
