In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work A Thousand Lies To Lie To sold for HKD 560,000.00 (€ 55,749.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Indieguerillas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia sold at auction in April 2012 with the realized price of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 60,411.22).
