Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Portable Art Is Good For You Vii: (The Birth Of) The Cheerful And The Beautiful Pseudo-Cool by Indieguerillas. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,945.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Indieguerillas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 60,411.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portable Art Is Good For You Vii: (The Birth Of) The Cheerful And The Beautiful Pseudo-Cool von Indieguerillas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.945,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Indieguerillas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 60.411,22).
