Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portable Art Is Good For You Vii: (The Birth Of) The Cheerful And The Beautiful Pseudo-Cool by Indieguerillas was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,603.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Indieguerillas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 60,411.22).

Die Arbeit Portable Art Is Good For You Vii: (The Birth Of) The Cheerful And The Beautiful Pseudo-Cool von Indieguerillas wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.603,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Indieguerillas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 60.411,22).
