This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Indieguerillas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Heavy Make Up For The Amnesia sold at auction in April 2012 with the realized price of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 60,411.22).
