Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & Multiples Summer Splash, which included the work Red Blue Diamond by Ilya Bolotowsky. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 892.50 (€ 886.74). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilya Bolotowsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rectangle Within a Circle in May this year with an auction result of USD 107,950.00 (€ 101,323.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & Multiples Summer Splash durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Blue Diamond von Ilya Bolotowsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 892,50 (€ 886,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ilya Bolotowsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rectangle Within a Circle im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.950,00 (€ 101.323,45).
