Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Toscanini...The Last Performance by Idris Khan was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in London in January 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,638.00 (€ 1,852.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Idris Khan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (I) Every... Bernd And Hilla Becher Prison Type Gasholders (Ii) Every... Bernd And Hilla Becher Spherical Type Gasholders (Iii) Every... Bernd And Hilla Becher Gable Side Houses in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 181,250.00 (€ 225,352.58).

Die Arbeit Toscanini...The Last Performance von Idris Khan wurde im Januar 2021 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.638,00 (€ 1.852,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Idris Khan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit (I) Every...
