Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Xiao Hong' Figurines by Hong Donglu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 13,711.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hong Donglu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tai Chi / Buddha'S Warrior Attendant, which sold at auction in April 2008 for HKD 511,500.00 (€ 42,154.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Xiao Hong' Figurines von Hong Donglu kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 13.711,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hong Donglu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tai Chi / Buddha'S Warrior Attendant beobachtet, die im April 2008 für HKD 511.500,00 (€ 42.154,07) versteigert wurde.
