Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Evangelion: Ajanami Rei; Lynn Minmay; Pretty Soldier: Sailor Moon; Street Fighter: Chun Li by Hong Donglu was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,350.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hong Donglu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tai Chi / Buddha'S Warrior Attendant in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 511,500.00 (€ 42,154.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Evangelion: Ajanami Rei; Lynn Minmay; Pretty Soldier: Sailor Moon; Street Fighter: Chun Li von Hong Donglu kam im April 2010 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.350,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Donglu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tai Chi / Buddha'S Warrior Attendant im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 511.500,00 (€ 42.154,07).
