A top price for Hong Donglu
In April 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art II, which included the work Tai Chi / Buddha'S Warrior Attendant by Hong Donglu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 511,500.00 (€ 42,154.07), 28% above the upper estimate. With this result, Tai Chi / Buddha'S Warrior Attendant is even the most expensive work of art by Hong Donglu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Hong Donglu
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tai Chi / Buddha'S Warrior Attendant von Hong Donglu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 511.500,00 (€ 42.154,07) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Tai Chi / Buddha'S Warrior Attendant sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hong Donglu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
