In the Made in Britain auction, the work Ben Nicholson In Hampstead, Circa 1935 sold for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,992.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Humphrey Spender - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sails At Rab, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,967.18).

In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Ben Nicholson In Hampstead, Circa 1935 für GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.992,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Humphrey Spender mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sails At Rab beobachtet, die im März 2008 für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.967,18) versteigert wurde.
