The work Sketch of Victoria Peak by Huang Bore was worth HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,499.12) to a buyer in November 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Bore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bay in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).

Die Arbeit Sketch of Victoria Peak von Huang Bore war einem Käufer im November 2017 HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.499,12) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Bore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bay im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
