The work At The Foot Of Victoria Peak by Huang Bore was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 93,750.00 (€ 9,651.84), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Bore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bay, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).

Die Arbeit At The Foot Of Victoria Peak von Huang Bore wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 9.651,84) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Bore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bay beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04) versteigert wurde.
