A top price for Huang Bore - as previously expected
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Bay by Huang Bore. The price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bay is the most expensive artwork by Huang Bore that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bay von Huang Bore zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Bay das teuerste Kunstwerk von Huang Bore, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
