Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bodhidharma by Huang Bore was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 12,187.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 160,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Bore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bay, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bodhidharma von Huang Bore kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 12.187,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 160.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Bore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bay beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04) versteigert wurde.
