HUANG BORE (1901-1968) The Zither Player Rests Scroll, mounted for framing, ink and colour on silk 126.4 x 50.6 cm. (49 3 ⁄ 4 x 19 7 ⁄ 8 in.) Inscribed and signed by the artist One collector's seal by Li Shiyou (1916-2015) NOTE: Li Shiyou (1916-2015), also known as Jack Lee, was a celebrated collector in Hong Kong. Originally from Taishan, Guangdong, he established the Hoi Shing Restaurant in Hong Kong after the second world war. He was well-connected with distinguished artists in Lingnan and amassed an impressive collection of their artworks.
