This artwork by Huang Bore achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Guanyin Amongst Fire And Mist sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,497.23) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Huang Bore; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bay sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Bore erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Guanyin Amongst Fire And Mist für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.497,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Huang Bore; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Bay im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
