Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Picture of London by Hu Yongkai was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 17,640.00 (€ 2,094.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yongkai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Picture of London von Hu Yongkai kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 17.640,00 (€ 2.094,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yongkai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
