Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady by Hu Yongkai was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,425.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yongkai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady von Hu Yongkai kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.425,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yongkai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
