Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady By The Plum Blossom Tree by Hu Xigui was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,069.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Xigui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 56,067.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady By The Plum Blossom Tree von Hu Xigui kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.069,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Xigui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 56.067,00).
