A top price for Hu Xigui
This artwork by Hu Xigui achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Flowers sold for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 56,067.00) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. This high result makes Flowers the most expensive artwork by Hu Xigui that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Hu Xigui
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Xigui erzielte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Flowers für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 56.067,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Flowers zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Hu Xigui, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
