The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 87,777.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nudes At The Beach is the most expensive artwork by Howard Chandler Christy that we have observed at auctions so far.
