Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self Portrait With Palette by Howard Chandler Christy was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2017. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,604.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Howard Chandler Christy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nudes At The Beach in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 87,777.83).

Die Arbeit Self Portrait With Palette von Howard Chandler Christy kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion.
