In the American Art auction, the work Happy Motoring (The Happy Ending) sold for USD 14,080.00 (€ 13,215.69) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Howard Chandler Christy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nudes At The Beach in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 87,777.83).
