Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 91,000.00 (€ 57,576.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hou Junming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New Paradise (Set Of Seven), which sold at auction in October 2007 for HKD 1,807,500.00 (€ 161,160.84).
